This .5 credit course is being offered to all 8th-12th grade students.
Art 1A and 1B –
In this introduction to art class, students will learn the elements of art in the first part of the semester as well as the principles of design in the second part of the semester. Each week we will study an individual element or principle, create a piece of art that coincides with that element or principle, as well as study artists (both past and present). We will also delve into the overarching theme that we are creatures made in the image of the Creator and therefore made to create. Our hope is that each student will discover their own unique design, and how creating in their particular way will point them to Jesus and ultimately reflect His goodness, truth and beauty.
Students will participate during the dates/times listed during our 2nd semester this year. This 12 week course will be graded and count towards their elective credits for graduation.

Our tutoring program offers enrolled families live, individual support to help students succeed in their studies. Students enrolled in any of our programs benefit from tutoring sessions that provide video interaction with our qualified, caring teachers.
Sessions are scheduled by appointment via Zoom, allowing students to receive focused help on specific concepts for 30-40 minutes per session. By enrolling in a tutoring session, students gain confidence, encouragement, and connection as they work directly with their teacher. Even a few sessions can help them in achieving their educational goals.
