Remainder of the Year Enrollments

Reading this short page will help you quickly know if Southeast Academy is for you! Most parents that need to make a change this time of year do not know where to start. Many school or program websites do not cover the details involved in a transfer this time of year OR even if they will take a student this time of year. Southeast Academy does!
What you can expect:
Fill out a registration form. To help you, the family registration fee of $125 is waived! Tuition is still required for official enrollment and to receive credit from Southeast Academy. The first tuition payment is due when the student begins work.
As soon as the registration form has been received, Southeast Academy will contact you to get some information about your current academic situation. We need to gather enough information to properly place the student in curriculum. Some grade levels will need to complete a brief online placement tool for our highly successful personalized curriculum structure. Normally Southeast Academy requests academic records from the previous school to help with placement, but many campus-based school offices are closed or have limited staff, but we can usually gather enough information from you to help with placement.
The actual day a student can begin school work depends on a couple things: The response time it takes for needed placement information (either from the parent or the previous school). The day we receive your first tuition payment for the current semester. Students below 3rd grade and combination curriculum format users will also have a few days’ mailing time for booklet curriculum. Online curriculum users do not have that delay.
The 1st-12th grade tuition for “remainder of the year” students requires a semester tuition because of the many administrative tasks required for enrollment of any length of time. Many other schools require a full year of enrollment. Often students that transfer this time of year may need a little extra time and school work anyway due to the transition or due to the reason for the transfer. The semester payment can allow students to work to July 17th if needed. Additionally, you will find our tuition rates for a semester to be one of the best values for services received compared to many private or Christian schools. Depending on which program and grade level, a semester’s tuition runs between $630 to $1160.
